CHEF'S TABLE

Taj Exotica Resort & Spa takes its private dining to another level with the introduction of the "Chef's Table" by the pool side. The five elements of nature are articulately embedded in each of the 5 courses of the dinner menu prepared by our executive Chef Sheroy Kermani. Also being aptly named the "Chef's Table", all courses are prepared just beside the guests' table with a 360 degree view of the Chef creating & explaining each course as it unfolds. Each course is also paired with the best of wines from across the globe and introduced by the Sommelier to give our guests an ultimate gastronomic wine and dinner experience.

 

LE BEAUJOLAIS NOUVEAU

Beaujolais Nouveau Day is marked in France on the third Thursday in November with fireworks, music and festivals. Under French law, the wine is released at 12:01 am, just weeks after the wine's grapes have been harvested. Parties are held throughout the country and further afield to celebrate the first wine of the season. We have dedicated a few weeks of our "pre-festive season" to this old tradition as we are offering a variety of this special wine. For those who wish to experiment, we have crafted a Sangria de Beaujolais for two served in a large carafe along with a Gourmet Charcuterie Platter.

 

TREE HOUSE

Nestled and hidden in the tree tops we created a private dining experience with a bird's-eye view. Enjoy the magnificent sunset over the turquoise blue lagoon from above while sipping on your favourite cocktail or enjoying a romantic tree house tapas menu.

 

THE DEEP END

The Deep End incorporates the latest trends in modern fine dining coupled with creative presentations. The cuisine itself is upscale European in its background with the best of Mediterranean & Modern Western food; the focus being "Farm to Plate" soul food, enhancing the flavour of every ingredient on the plate. The chefs artistically plate every dish defining the complexity of the various ingredients that are used in the menu. The main attraction is the live performance of the "Opera", a dessert which is skillfully prepared right on your table. The maritime breeze and placid waves within the partial alfresco set-up are the highlights of the over water restaurant. There is also a nightly tasting menu for those who need choices in addition to the à la carte menu.
